Airports Authority of India is observing Vigilance Awareness Week, 2014
(VAW) from 27th to 31st October, 2014 at Corporate Headquarters and at all its
units and field stations. The observance of the week commenced by lighting the
ceremonial lamp and administration of Pledge to all employees on 27.10.14 at
1100 Hrs at Corporate Headquarters by Shri S. Raheja, Chairman, AAI , in the presence
of all the Board Members and Smt.Upma Srivastava, IAS, Chief Vigilance Officer.
Chairman, AAI addressed the officials after
the pledge and highlighted the importance of Vigilance Awareness Week. After
administration of pledge a quiz on AAI (ECDA) Regulations, 2003 about AAI, CVC
and basic vigilance principles was organized for AAI officials and prizes were
distributed on the spot to the winners. All enjoined the quiz programme. During this week Vigilance Department has
also organized various activities on each day of the VAW- 2014. The activities include
lecture by eminent speakers on the theme of the VAW, talks on Spiritual/
Motivational / Ethical issues in workplace.
