BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Satish Upadhyay has expressed happiness and congratulated Bachpan Bachao Andolan founder Shri Kailash Satyarthi on being felicitated with Noble Peace Prize for 2014. Shri Upadhyay has said that Shri Kailash Satyarthi who has done tremendous work for child rights, to free children from bounded labour and to make childhood happy won crores of hearts with his work. Today entire India feels proud on his getting the Noble Peace Prize.

Shri Upadhyay has said that amidsts this happiness we also feel the pain that during last 10 years while countries like Germany, Spain, Italy and America honored Shri Kailash Satyarthi for his work, the Congress government of Shri Manmohan Singh ignored his work. It is a matter of distress that a man who has been honored with Noble Prize and other international awards has no award from his own country.
