CBI REGISTERS A CASE AGAINST A GENERAL MANAGER OF MP STATE CO-OPERATIVE MARKETING FEDERATION AND TWO OFFICIALS

The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered a case against a Branch Manager; a Development Officer; two agents all of New India Assurance Company, Mandideep Branch, Distt Raisen (MP) and One General Manager (Storage) of MP State Co-Operative Marketing Federation, Bhopal (MP) U/s 120-B, 420 of IPC and 13(2) r/w 13(1) (d) of PC Act, 1988. It was alleged that the accused persons entered into criminal conspiracy with each other and issued insurance coverage of MARKFED’s Stock and paid commission to the agents & incentive to Development Officer on the basis of false certificate issued by GM, MARKFED whereas the said business was to be carried out without any agent, thereby cheated the New India Assurance Company to the tune of Rs.30,46,616/-(approx.).
