In a meeting with Petroleum Minister Sh. Dharmendra Pradhan & Ms. Meenakashi Lekhi, MP Lok Sabha various issues regarding Gas Pipeline were discussed and it was decided that New Delhi Constituency would completely switch over to pipeline based gas. There are number of places where the Gas Pipeline have not reached, not been charged and work is delayed due to the onset of the monsoon.

The Minister has assured that his Ministry and Indraprastha Gas Ltd. ( IGL) would take up steps to ensure that households falling in New Delhi Constituency get Gas connection immediately without further delay.

A report has been also received by the MP which shows the Gas pipelines already charged, work in progress and plan after the monsoons are over. For any issues, IGL officials can be contacted or the office of Mrs. Meenakashi Lekhi can be contacted.

New Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) area has fully committed itself to provide gas pipeline to all households. Similarly South Municipal Corporation and North Municipal Corporation have been asked to quickly and efficiently work, so that the mission can be achieved.
