The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered a case U/s 279 & 304A of IPC against unknown persons relating to accidental death of Shri Gopinath Munde, then Union Minister for Rural Development & Punchayati Raj (GOI) at Delhi on 03.06.2014.

            CBI took up the investigation of the case on the orders of Government of India which was earlier registered by Delhi Police, and inspected the scene of crime. Further investigation is continuing.
