The National Human Rights Commission has taken suo motu cognizance of a media report that an RTI activist, Anoop Singh was abducted by some persons from Dankaur town in Gautam Budh Nagar district, Uttar Pradesh as his activism using provisions of the RTI Act did not go down well with them.
